Face-to-Face Assessments Suspended

Due to the current pandemic, the UK government has announced that face-to-face health assessments have been suspended for three months from tomorrow 17th March 2020.

Health assessments for new and existing Personal Independence Payment (PIP), Employment and Support Allowance (ESA), Universal Credit (UC) and Industrial Injuries Disablement Benefit (IIDB) claims will be replaced by telephone or paper-based assessments.

Claimants with appointments already scheduled from 17th March 2020 onwards, do not need to attend and will be contacted by the department for Work and Pensions (DWP).
